Max, has played for Burnley (2001/2) and Bury FC (2002/7) as a junior. Max is now a goalkeeper at Inverness Caledonian Thistle; having completed his apprenciship at Newcastle United, where he played for the Youth Team and Reserves.

Max Johnson has completed his first month at Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Unfortunately Max suffered an ankle injury in the first week of pre-season. He was out of action for a week but worked hard in the gym until he was fully fit to resume full training.
On Friday 23rd July Max played his first match for Inverness Caledonian Thistle Under 19’s side. He successfully completed 82 minutes against highland league club Lossiemouth FC Under 19’s. The match ended in a 1-0 defeat, but Max was able to put his recent injury behind him and was reported to have played exceptionally well.
